This gives us an opportunity to answer your question or clear up a potential midshipmen in real time. Many of our products are complicated. Dialog is necessary. We believe a phone call is still "the next best thing to being there."

If you need to get a message to us after hours, please use our easy-to-use voicemail system. We will respond the next business day.

Paying for Products & Services

We accept several forms of payment at Madsen's. For orders that we ship out: credit card & prepayment are best.

 

1. Credit Card - We accept Visa, MasterCard & Discover card.;

2. Prepayment - You can send us payment for an order ahead time, or you can call in an order with instructions for us to hold it until we receive your payment. This is not available on sale items or other products with limited supply.


Pricing

Prices in our catalog are subject to change without notice. Please ask for the current price when you are ordering. Also, the chance of something being misprinted is possible. We apologize ahead of time for mistakes.

Volume Pricing

Quantity pricing accompanies most products and services listed on MADSEN'S web site. This extra discount is offered for buying in case or bundled quantities. Since it costs us less to handle bulk product, we pass the savings to you.
 

If you are buying a very large quantity of a particular product, please call or  fax us for a quote. We try to list quantity discounts that are realistic for an average logger or timber faller, but if you are a governmental or corporate buyer,  negotiated prices are available on purchase volumes that exceed standard levels.


Special Orders

If you need something that we don't have on hand, in many cases we can special order it for you. Our only requirement is that special orders be paid for in advance. You can do this with a credit card or by prepayment. All returns are subject to a 15% restock fee and some special order items are non-returnable. Please call for more specific information.


Governmental Bids

If you are a governmental buyer, please ask about bid assistance. You may qualify for special pricing offered by a product's manufacturer. 
 

We are familiar with dealing with governmental entities. We know governmental buyers face unique challenges. If you require special paperwork or special billing, whatever it is, we will work to make it easy for you.

How to Return Merchandise

We are committed to satisfying our customers and will accept return merchandise for almost any reason. If you'd like to return something, please contact us and make arrangements prior to sending it.

Did you order a shirt that is too small? Did we send you the wrong part? Did you order something that you really didn't need? Except for special orders, we will accept returns for almost any reason. We want you to be happy with the products we sell and the service you receive. All we ask is that you make arrangements with us prior to sending something back.

 

Please be aware that returned items that are not in their original packages, lack tags, or are not in "like new" condition may be subject to a 15% restocking fee or more. Saw chain that has been cut into loops or is used is not returnable. Boots and clothes that have been worn and/or washed are not returnable. If, however, a product has failed to meet your expectations or you are not satisfied with it for any reason, please contact us. You can count on us to be fair and reasonable.

 

If you wish to return something, please:

  1. Call for return authorization.

  2. Package the products for shipping and in the package include a note telling us what you would like us to do - exchange, return, etc.

  3. If you charged the item(s) on a credit card, include your credit card information. We don't keep credit card information and may need it for issuing credit, billing a difference, or for shipping charges.

  4. Send the package to us. You may use any carrier you choose

 

When your package arrives, we will process it as quickly as possible.
