Paying for Products & Services
- COD (Cash on
Delivery) - COD is
available from both UPS and the U.S. Post Office. When we send a
package that is marked "Cash On Delivery," the carrier will pick up
payment for the package when he delivers it to you. This method of
payment is common for customers who have not established an account
with us or do not have a credit card.
One draw back to COD is the extra fee the carrier charges for this service. The extra charge is usually about Seven dollars. The reason carriers charge this is because they have the responsibility of delivering your payment back to us. Another draw back is that carriers no longer accept cash. They will accept only checks, cashiers checks, or money orders.
If you are planning to pay the carrier with a check, be sure to make a note of your drivers license number and the state that issued it on the order form. Checks we accept are subject to the approval of TeleCheck. We need this information from your license to process them.
We do not accept COD payment for orders not in our regular inventory. All special orders must me paid for in advance.

- You can send us payment
for an order ahead time, or you can call in an order with instructions
for us to hold it until we receive your payment. This is not available
on sale items or other products with limited supply.
- Charge To Your
Account - Many regular
customers have established credit with us. To open a charge account,
request a credit application, fill it out, and send it in for
processing. These accounts often take two weeks or more to process
because it takes time for your references to respond, and so on. On
your initial order, it is usually best to use one of the other forms of
payment.
If you prefer to make partial monthly payments, it is best to charge your purchases to a credit card. Madsen's commercial accounts are not revolving charge accounts and are not intended to be sources of financing. Commercial accounts are for customer convenience and must be paid in full each month.
We accept many forms of payment at Madsen's. These include: COD (Cash on Delivery), credit card, prepayment, and company charge accounts. All payment must be made in US Dollars or payable in US Funds. We do not accept foreign currency.
